Frequently Asked Questions

What does your office do and why is it called Pure Motion Sports and Spine, rather than chiropractic?

We called our office PMSS rather than chiropractic clinic to let the community know that we treat any musculoskeletal condition from head to toe and not just back and neck pain. Our doctor has taken extensive training beyond chiropractic to help treat issues with any muscle or joint pain anywhere in the body.

Do you only treat athletes or sports injuries?

We treat any injury. Our doctor has a background of many techniques that can be used to treat postural syndromes a desk worker may have, laborer injuries a blue collar worker may experience, or a stressed out business person

Are Chiropractic and your Treatments safe for children and elderly?

The answer is YES. Dr. Jenna pays special attention to the difference between a child’s tissues or an elderly person as opposed to a more active individual. Her chiropractic training was in Florida with a high elderly population, so she knows what is safe for them, and what is not. She also has treated many children, with her youngest patient being 6 months old.

Once I go to a Chiropractor, will I have to go forever?

The answer is NO. At Pure Motion Sports and Spine we give you a specific diagnosis, treatment plan, and quick recovery. Some patients may choose to do a wellness plan with regular check ups. Those patients will have the benefits of long lasting pain free results and fewer setbacks or episodes without any side effects. We are here to help you reach your goals, not our own at PMSS!

Do you ever refer to other doctors?

Yes, at Pure Motion we pride ourselves on using the most current diagnosis protocols to find out if we are the right doctor/office to treat your condition. We don’t waste time or effort trying to treat a condition that is better served in a different type office. You, as the patient are our first priority and getting you the help you need effectively!

Is the Chiropractic Adjustment safe, and what is that “crack” noise?

Chiropractic adjustments are recognized as a safe, drug free, non-invasive to relieving spinal pain.

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint pain of the arms or legs, headaches, and other neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. – Amercian Chiropractic Association

The crack noise is thought to be the release of nitrogen gas inside the joint space. We offer manual adjusting or light force Pro-Adjuster technique to give our patients the most safe, comfortable adjustment for their care.
